Fun Facts about the Cayman Islands & Shipping to the Islands

As we were researching shipping items to the Cayman Islands, we found some interesting facts about the Islands.


There are actually three islands. Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac

Grand Cayman is visited by cruise ships.

A major attraction on Grand Cayman is Hell. Hell has a large number of black limestone formations. These limestone formations look like they have survived a large fire. Hence, the name Hell. Tour buses take you for a view of hell and the tourist shop has souvenirs and post cards from Hell.
The Cayman Islands are British Overseas Territory and English is spoken here.

The Cayman Islands are known as a tax haven the lack of income taxes, capital gains taxes and wealth taxes.

Banks are abundant on the Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands are home to about sixty thousand people.
